trackrat
I have just downloaded a rather large programme and installed it and when I ran the programme it ZA asked me if I wanted to give it access to the internet, which I said no to only to find it needed access to the internet to complete installation, so I cannot run this programme . Is there any way to reverse the permission or denial of it in ZA after you have made your selection.Regards Alan
-pops-
Are you on ME or XP? You could try a System Restore or you could install the backup you made before you downloaded this large program (you did do a precautionary backup, didn't you?) trackrat
Yes I did do a backup, I learnt the hard way a couple of years ago when my hard drive died on me. I just wondered if there was any other way to undo a choice you have made in ZA for future reference in case I drop the same clanger again.I finished the installation by switching ZA of. :D

Pilch
can be doneload up zone alarm up, program control, programs tab, then find the program, and click everything to allow access...that way you can change the access even after you have selected it.
