I'm using ACE ftp and have forgotten how to fill in the requested details. Can anyone talk me through it. Tony Posted January 25, 2004 Report Share Posted January 25, 2004 Hi dougI am not to sure on what details you have forgotten/lost.I have just d/l and installed ACE FTP to see what infomation it asks for to connect, it is the same details as most FTP clients.The details i added wereHOST www.mydomain.comID your user name (given to you by your webspace provider)Password your password (given to you by your webspace provider)and on mine it uses Port 21If you have forgotten your user name and/or password you will have to contact your webspace provider, for them to let you know what they are.GoodluckTony Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

doug Posted January 26, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 26, 2004 Well that sort of worked shirl. At least "forgetting about it for a day". I can now get in. Went through all combinations of the URL/ID/password/.com & .net etc. Have now made a more permanent not of the combination that worked. For a moment it was like being legless.
