flashbackagain Posted January 26, 2004 Report Share Posted January 26, 2004 I have been having problems with gifs and pictures for a while now with no solution...An example being the ones Andsome use's...A couple of days ago 4 of them showed up as just a red x....Then I had a problem with my sound,done a system restore,sound is ok now but now 6 of Andsome's gifs are red x's :unsure: This also happens on some web pages as well..I have tried lots of things to try and sort it to no avail..Sometimes if I right click then "show picture" it works.Surely there must be a solution :unsure: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

andsome Posted January 27, 2004 Report Share Posted January 27, 2004 Several of my smilies have been showing a little red X for the last few days. The last time this happened, I checked the website, and those particular smilies were the same there. After a few days they came back when the website repaired them. I will leave them for a couple of days more, and if they are not right then, I will replace them. I am not sure how these smilies work, but I think that when you use them on WF, they are bought up from the smiley sight each time, and if they are not working there, they won't show on WF. Andsome hasn't actually got pictures on his signature like you can see the text, but an image link to another website. The Santa Lady that I had in my sig at Christmas is actually sitting in my webspace and I just provided a link to it in my sig.
