After reading about the two OS`s, I decided to download Redhat.

I looked at the instructions link that expertec posted and not knowing much about software I could not follow it.

My question is now I have downloaded and burned all three to disc, is will it auto run when I insert the first disc or do I need a boot disc to make it work. And some instructions in plain english.

Regards Alan :stupid:

Thanks for that, it was what I wanted to know.

When I downloaded them to my desktop (prior to burning) I clicked on disc 1 and it just showed up as a data file which windows could not read, so that is why I posted the previous question.

Once again thanks I have no doubt I will be back to ask a lot more questions on Linux.

when nero is loaded, goto the new menu, click on the ISO tab.....

click open and navigate to the location of the file on your HDD, when selected, simply select burn image.
