Prostate cancer can strike at any age and even at around 50 years there is a distinct possibility that a PSA test might prove positive long before physical symptoms show themselves - that is the best time to get something done to treat it.Edit:Note: a PSA test is quick and simple and doesn't involve possibly undignified or embarrassing postures, insertions of things into places they're not designed for (unless you count a needle in the arm for a blood test), or discomfort.
