Guest Lived Backwards
I have had NTL Digital for a while now, and whilst i am more than satisfied with their customer service, i am a little perplexed. So far, not one day has passed without me having to reboot my Set top box for one reason or another. My question is: Is this normal? Do you have to reboot as frequently? Guest ellas
not on ntl but telewest digital and quite often the tv box just freezes, only way to correct it is to pull the plug and reset, not as often as once a day though.
Sir Radfordin
Had to reboot the telewest box last night twice in the space of about 10 mins. Does however tend to work most of the time without any problems.

Damo
not on ntl but telewest digital and quite often the tv box just freezes, only way to correct it is to pull the plug and reset, not as often as once a day though.I have the same problem with Sky Digital, seems to be on the hour ie: 07:00, :08:00 etc....must be when they're updating the listings.....always have to unplug it to get it working again though! andsome
An NTL engineer told me to go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall Correct Connect, he said that all of the engineers do this on their own computers. I get NO BOTHER at all since doing this.

andsome
My set top box is for Digital TV only. The Broad band is via a separate cable modem. The lead to this is in parallel to the TV set top box. Correct Connect installed from the original CD, but I was constantly having to reboot the modem because correct connect caused my connection to the INTERNET and e-mail to break down. Since uninstalling this I don't get any bother. I misread your first posting and assumed that your set up was the same as mine.
