I've read that you have a legal entitlement to insist on having the full O/S disk supplied with a new machine. Watch out for the 'pre-installed' scam. -pops- Posted February 9, 2004 Report Share Posted February 9, 2004 XP does have its own partitioning software but, like a lot of Windows utilities, it is basic in what it will do and I found it very confusing to use.Look in: Right click My computer -> Manage -> Disk Management and look in the help file there for how to use the partitioning facility.
