757DFX Posted February 16, 2004 Report Share Posted February 16, 2004 Hi everyone,My OS OEM Win-Me\IE 5.5After regularly getting a "IExplorer has developed a fault (unknown) IE will now close down" message. I have tried to upgrade to IE6 but each time I try to run the download another message comes up "A previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot,you need to restart your computer to complete that installation before running internet explorer setup", after a reboot I get the same message. Any suggestions please, as I cant find a previous installation.IE is not listed in the Add\Remove box so I cant do a repair from there.
