flashbackagain Posted February 17, 2004 Report Share Posted February 17, 2004 I have had trouble with PCWorld Homepage,the loading bar starts slowly then stays on screen (full),the homepage header appears,nothing else....I happened to install AdMuncher and PCWorld homepage comes up without a problem...But if I uninstall AdMuncher I'm back to square one...I cannot connect the two? If you have adaware or spybot S & D then they will clean them up for you so I wouldn't worry about it. I have IE/Spyad loaded which is why they are blocked!! Good eh? flashbackagain Posted February 18, 2004 Author Report Share Posted February 18, 2004 A new twist to the tale!!Decided to download IE/Spyad,was following your nice tutorial Nellie,got to the 'dos' screen part :o It was very "jittery" as if it needed a nerve tablet :lol: Thought to myself for some reason it was being caused by the now "redundant" Norton,so I uninstalled it...For some other strange reason I tried PC World homepage :o back to square one again :angry: Reinstalled Norton and PC World homepage appeared again :unsure: Somehow Norton have entered the equation as well!!
