andsome
Have you tried add/remove programs/repair? In the window of Add /Remove, you highlight IE and select repair from the selection. I see that you use Windows 98.
-pops-
Remember that you are not obliged to use Internet Explorer.Although I have it installed on this machine, I hardly ever use it. I much prefer other browsers and, depending on how I feel, I use Netscape, Opera, Avant and, more recently, Firefox.I don't really know whether IE works on this machine or not, such is the frequency I use it. :)

andsome
How long have you had IE6??? I have heard of some people with W98 having problems with 6......... been trying to get into the M$ knowledge base but the site is very slow.... can't get there at the minute. :(When I used 98SE on an old computer I could not get on with IE6 and went back to IE5.5. However on three friends computers, where I have reinstalled 98SE for them, as IE5.5 does not seem to be available now, and IE 5 is considered to be too vulnerable, I have put them onto IE 6 and NONE have had any bother at all. I think it depends on the computer, they can be as temperamental as women.

andsome
Thanks Nellie, as I said IE 6 is running OK on all their computers at present. I have put the website into favourites in case they need it in the future.
