Xpand Rally

First impressions are:

Graphics are great, landscape is beautiful.

GF4 FX5200 is no good, too slow, might just have to get a 5950 Ultra B)

Other than that still learning to set the cars up, and config the MOMO wheel.

And "chosen few" is a very apt description, quite lucky I think, 1 of 2000 testers, from over 10,000 applicants.

:shifty:

Well, two weeks have past and sheesh some hours have been put in, with the new FX5950 Ultra card. :o

At present, first stage beta, it is a quite capable rally game. :)

Initial reaction is that is is too tight, and the cars physics are out of kilter, off centre, or too high. The cars are light. Brakes are in need of analogue sensitivity. Those with "real" steering wheels will know what I mean. B)

Scenery is spectacular, but you are supposed to be watching the road.

Selected testers will proceed to the next stage, version 2. No patches, just the next version, straight up. :D

Wish me luck, I've contributed positively to the locked forum, so !!!

:)
