gigg
I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I have decided, I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8 year-old again.I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four-star restaurant. I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks. I want to dress my cat up in clothes, run with the dog through every creek, puddle, and all the neighbors back yards.I want to go to Disney World! I want Halloween to start now! I want Christmas to twinkle and be so mysterious, that I pass out before dinner from sheer exhaustion.I want the Easter egg hunt to last all day! I want to think M&M's are better than money because you can eat them. I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's day.I want to return to a time when life was simple, when all you knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't know and you didn't care. All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good.I want to believe that anything is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones. I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.So . . . here's my checkbook and my car-keys, my credit card bills and all my statements. I am officially resigning from adulthood. And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first, cause. . . "Tag! You're it." Guest Drovers Dog
Did you never see the TV programme about all the rubbish that is in beefburgers from places like MacDonald's?:P Yeah, Mate, they use powdered Eggs, where else can we get rid of the contents of all them Emu and Ostrich eggs, we use the shells elsewhere!!!Hey, Gigg, I just tagged Andsome!!This sounds like FUN!! :censored: :D
andsome
It is significant that almost all of the BSE in this country was in the dairy herd, and NOT in top quality beef herds. It is also known that when these old cattle were slaughtered they entered the fast food chain for processing into burgers etc. It is also unfortunately significant that almost all of the CJD cases in the UK are in the age group that would visit fast food outlets. spikeychris
Don't give a mokeys about McDonald's powdered eggs or any other post in this thread cept the first. Absolutely brilliant, love it. BTW I'd half the age though, I have a four year old who wakes saying is a beautiful day today isn't it. Have my keys as well............................. andsome
Leave McDonalds alone it is tasty and cheap. I bet you are one of those people that think burger king is much betterI wouldn't touch ANY of those fast burger chain meals thanks. They may be tasty but anything can be made tasty with spices and herbs. Anything that contains cheap beef from milk herds, including skin, hair, etc is not for me. As I said if you had seen the TV program showing just what rubbish is in them, it would put you off for life. You have also ignored the fact that I mentioned, that by far the vast majority of CJD cases in the UK are in the age group which would have been eating fast foods at the time that the dairy herd was infected with BSE. I have nothing against burgers from a small local butcher who makes his own, and nothing against home made burgers.
