Tony
HiI downloaded and burnt the ISO yesterday all md5 sums are good on the ISO's,But it wont install, it keeps hanging on<6>ide-cd: cmd 0x5a timed out<4>hdc: lost interrupt<4>hdc: lost interrupt<4>hdc: lost interrupt<4>hdc: lost interrupt<6>ide-cd: cmd 0x3 timed out<4>hdc: lost interrupt<6>ide-cd: cmd 0x3 timed outThis continues for anouther 10 lines or so then i get<4>hdc: ATAPI 32x DVD-ROM DVD-R-RAM CD-R/RW drive, 2048KB Cache, UDMA(33)<6>Uniform CD-ROM driver Revision: 3.20<4>hdc: lost interrupt<6>ide-cd: cmd 0x25 timed out<4>hdc: lost interrupt<6>ide-cd: cmd 0x25 timed out<4>hdc: lost interrupt<4>hdc: lost interrupt<4>hdc: lost interrupt<4>hdc: lost interruptSo any ideas as to what is happening. It keeps adding "<4>hdc: lost interrupt" now about once every 3-4 mins, it took about half an hour to get this far.I have re-burnt the ISO at a lower speed as well just in case that was the problem, but is still the same.I am installing it on to my old 13gb fujitsu HD which is working fine, or at least seems to be fine.Ok i have just had a look at the log ALT+F3 and it seems that it can't find a file here is what it saysneeds keybdevfile-not-found-in-archive keybdev.ko (maybe you can try anouther boot floppy such as 'hdcdrom_usb.mg')warning, insmod failed (keybdev (null)) (2)Automatic: parameter cdrom for method means returning CDROM drivwhave to insmod ide-cdneeds cdromneeds ide-cdSo what gives?CheersTony
