I loved the detail that went into the wave ...9 cherry wood carvings one for each colour , with the original drawing destroyed in the process , That image must be as equal , if not more recognisable as any of the European masters , what if it had been a painting rather than a print ........?

The fractal reference (in nature) and the existence of the pyramid waves (first photographed in the 60's ), just shows what an eye for detail in his abstract that he had ...!
