doug
Don't know how to title this query anyway here goes. Had some problems with the battery pack on the wifes Powertrike in that the useable life has suddenly dropped from ~7 mile to less than one so I'm measuring the battery characteristics. The pack consists of 3 x 12 volt 7 amp-hour (20 hour rate) batteries in series. I've set up a rig where I'm measuring the voltage while discharging into a 43.6 ohm resistor bank made up from several 10 watt resistors. Fist results are very alarming and as the pack is about £150 I'm trying to build up a picture as to what is going on. I've processed the data for each battery on spread sheets, one for each battery. I'm now trying to import the volts and amp-hour data onto a single sheet so I can show the results on a single plot for discussion with the manufacturer. Sorry I've gone round the house to describe this. I'm attaching a copy for discussion and help. Hope it come over.

nellie2
Isn't it great to have friends in high places!!! Our Excel whiz VoG now has a little place of his own here in case of further problems, but I have been in touch with him and he has very kindly provided this solution for you.Method: Copy the data from individual sheets onto a single sheet. Use Edit/Paste special and tick Values so it copies the values, not formulas which would give nonsense results. Plot the chart for the Cell 1 data as normal. Select then Copy Cell 2 data, goto chart, Edit/Paste Special/New Series Same with Cell 3 data. Then Chart/Source data, select each series in turn and change the name from Series1 etc to Cell1, Cell2 etc. Tidy up. Job done.Looks so simple when you put it like that doesn't it!!! :blink:doug.zip
doug
Gee thanks. I knew it would be soo simple, once you know the answer. Trouble is I managed to do all my work with Lotus 123 until I retired. Now every time I try to do something in Excell I get confused with the 123 algorythm.
