brg95 Posted May 3, 2004 Report Share Posted May 3, 2004 HI this is my first post on this site bad news im afraid!!!!Im running win xp home ed tried to load my recovery disc put disc in cd/rw drive and screen appears ,grey/ blue titled Symantec Ghost 7.0.0.260 followed by three error mssages.1 Single user ver cannot do multiple loads press ok then2 Cannot open GHOSTERR.TXT3 Application error 1100 invalid dump file Cannot use win media player anymore err int user application Cannot open system restore Cannot open system info either Any help gratefully appreciated Jacko Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chris Posted May 3, 2004 Report Share Posted May 3, 2004 It would look like the recovery CD is a ghost image of a manufacturer install. And I get the Symentec Ghost 7.0.0.260 message............along with, Cannot open R:\570.GHOWas this problem ever resolved? Can you please tell me how.
