The pro is a bit more expensive, but in the long run is the better option, it comes with 10 times the amount of software, and it comes with two manuals with about 1000 pages of very good documentation. One in the form of a Users Guide, and the other a system administrator guide. Both are great and is some of the best documentation I have seen ever to come with any operating system. There is so much more available on the retail version. Suse comes with proprietary apps that don't come with ftp.Support your favorite distro.
