madboy33
Hi allGot this weird problemIf i click on favourites and then hover over the link it shows up as the wrong link URL. However, i click on the link and it is fine and goes to the correct URL.Also if you look at the image below you will see a black bar to the right of where the url is.The link that is actually hovered is Novatech. Dont worry about the page thats displayedAnyone ever had this happen to them and how is fixed?

Hurdy
I don't know about the incorrect info but I've been getting that black shadow since I started folding 3 weeks ago - I think it's the EMIII proggie.

Hurdy
It's been driving me bonkers. have looked all over to see if I can turn off the URL link box but apparently the 'end user' can't.

Redhat
LOL but with seti do you get cool protein molecules on your screen :D ?
-pops-
This is reminiscent of my experiences with another "assist research" projects a long time ago (I mentioned it previously in the questionaire on this).Started off with a minor inconvenience and gradually more and more things failed to function or, if they did function, failed to do it properly. It eventually led to me having to do a complete re-install of my O/S and, as I stated in my other post on this, nothing would ever persuade me to do another "help out the scientist" project. I say this as a retired scientist myself.
Agent Smith
LOL but with seti do you get cool protein molecules on your screen :D ?No, but you can have nice wiggly, multi-coloured bar graphs of all the different gaussians, spikes, pulses and triplets, if you really want to. :D
Ash
For ages now mouseovers have been going wrong - delayed so they appear when my mouse is elsewhere, displaying in a disfigured (for want a better word) box, or just not showing at all.Issue with an XP patch or service pack? bvw
Exactly the same here madboy, it started about a month or so ago.Not a problem as such, just irritating.I've been folding for months and months by the way, don't think it's connected with that. Hurdy
Issue with an XP patch or service pack?I've been folding for months and months by the way, don't think it's connected with that.I just assumed it had something to do with F@H because it started at about the same time. Sorry if I gave any ammunition to those from the dark side.I can't think of any patches I've downloaded recently - I tend to only DL the critical updates. What I didn't say was that it only happens on my XP pc and not on the 98se ones.
