christmascracker
Right, I've got the true power 480 and the manual I've got is for the 550 true as well.Taken from the manual:2 floppy connectors2 Serial ATA5 4 pin molex connectors2 dedicated 'fan only' connectorsHope that helps :) (here's a picci too)
Chris
Seems we have a conflict.
-pops-
Just checked in my current machine. There are, as Christmas cracker says 5 Molex on cables direct from the PSU but some have 1 to 2 splitters on them. I'm running three optical drives, four hard drives and a floppy. There is still a Molex to spare so the figure given in the manual is a bit out. Note the splitters were with the PSU/case, not my additions. christmascracker
It's a bit missleading in the manual I think. There are 7 4 pin molex connectors but two of them are marked 'fan only' and it says not to connect anything but fans to these. Then again, it doesn't say in the manual that there are two Serial ATA connectors either, but there are
Chris
Cracker you didn't go snapping your camera for me now did you :blush:Models: TRUE330, TRUE380, TRUE430, TRUE480, TRUE550Connectors: The Antec TruePower power supply is an ATX12V form factor powersupply. An ATX12V power supply has a single 20-pin Main Power Connector, a 6-pin AUX Power Connector and a 4-pin +12V Power Connector to the motherboard. It also comes with seven 4-pin Peripheral Power Connectors and two 4-pin Floppy Drive Power Connectors to your drives. It is backwards compatible to previous ATX form factor power supplys. If your motherboard does not support the AUX Power Connector or the +12V Power Connector, you can still use this power supply.

-pops-
Then again, it doesn't say in the manual that there are two Serial ATA connectors either, but there areIn mine, the SATA connectors are branched from a Molex.

Chris
Hmm I've just checked the size of my current psu and its dimensions are as follows...H - 85mmL - 150mmW - 140mmAlthough I could have the L and W the wrong way round  Is this the correct size?So it will be just case of whip the old one out and snap the new one in place? -pops-
They're a standard size for ATX so, yes, it should be a straight swap.
Chris
Just before I decide, something cropped up. My fans connect directly to the motherboard.Ummm shouldn't be a problem should it?
christmascracker
No, my case fan is commected to the mb. It had a 3-pin connector too if you want to monitor the fan speeds. If you connect the fans to the fan connectors it's supposed to regulate the speed.
