Update your graphcs drivers.MSIE, Tools, Internet Options... Advanced, Use Smooth Scrolling. The second is that every time a pop up comes up the computer beeps. You have a popup blocker? Have you installed the sound card drivers?
Scarecrow Man
check your sound settings, for when a new window opens. probably set to play a sound.Start> Settings> Control Panel click Sounds and Multimedia (don't know which one is the culprit, but worth a look.) Andy-2004
you need to use the CD to install the drivers for your sound card, then beeps will stop,
Scarecrow Man
Do what Andy said, but if you want newer drivers, try the manufacturer's website, like Creative. If they don't help you out any, try Driver Guideuser: driverpass: all
