mark2 Posted July 5, 2004 Report Share Posted July 5, 2004 Some of you are far better than me at this. :) A friend has a 1982 Cadillac Fleetwood with the Oldsmobile 351 cubic inch diesel engine, I'm trying to find a wiring diagram for the engine electrics online, there appear to be plenty of manuals about, but without paying $20.00 I cannot be sure they will cover the subject in enough detail, we have had one manual but it doesn't have the wiring and is almost a "one size fits all" manual ie not specific enough.I have found a few sites but not yet had enough time to study them.Any help greatly appreciated :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Scarecrow Man Posted July 5, 2004 Report Share Posted July 5, 2004 In Canada, we have what's called a "Haynes Manuel" I think? something like that, anyways, it's a book written to be VERY in depth about every kind of car. There is a differen't manuel for each make of car. I don't know if you can find one of these, but I find them at Canadian Tire stores, try an auto place. They might have one. mark2 Posted July 5, 2004 Author Report Share Posted July 5, 2004 I think he's going to have to bite the bullet and shell out for a manual :( :D I can find plenty of manuals for sale online and a few articles dealing with the system I need, but no freebies or "tasters" He's just shelled out approx £200 for a glow plug relay :o and doesn't want it to go t*ts up .It's been bodged previously which led to the the glow plugs melting and necessitating cylinder heads removal to get them out.thanks for your efforts tho folks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's called MitchellRepairwww.mitchellrepair.comthe company I work for currently uses it.
