Here is the problem, I tried to watch movies but some of them caused windows explorer and windows media player to close down itself by popping windows explorer and windows media player error and some of the movies works fine. Any idea to solve this issue. Thanks in advanced

I got it from anime website, all of the anime are free to be downloaded. Some of them worked just fine, others led me to windows explorer error. The pop up error is the usual windows error where your application (in this case my windows media player) has to be closed and asked whether this error is to be sent to microsoft or not.

I have used Mega Codec and I can play most of the movies in Internet....some of the movies which my windows media player does not support tells me a notice of error only and no automatic shutdown for the application which I experienced it for some of the movies. Anyway, one quick question, do we have to uninstall our codec in order to use another codec say mine now is mega codec and i want to use the one you recommend, should I uninstall it first?

Which program are you playing media with?

wmv is windows media video. It's probably best to play it in windows media player. right click it and go to open with...

Also, with the Codec Pack, I believe a player comes with it. BSPlayer. I find it plays a LOT of video codec's, and I've never had a problem
