So I wanna get rid of IE and OE.I tried it this way:start-control panel-add or remove programs-add/remove windows componentshere I unchecked IE an OE.two questions:1. Are IE and OE really removed from my system now or are the just hidden or something (kinda suspicious ... Microsoft ... I don't trust them)2. In add/remove windows components these things are still selected:-accesoires and utilities (17.4MB)-indexing service (0.0MB)-Networking service (0.3MB)-Update root certificates (0.0MB)-Windows Mediaplayer (0.0MB)Can I remove some of these component? Or is there a decent alternative for these? (already tried Suse 9.1... but didn't work out to well... so now I'm trying to get a windows with as less Microsoft as possible. Leave well alone.All Internet browsers, that I am aware of, work well in the presence of each other so why the anxiety of wanting to remove I.E or O.E?If you really want to persist in this, ensure you have a full, and up-to-date, system backup as there is a good chance you will c**k everything up.
