Rebel=UK= Posted August 6, 2004 Report Share Posted August 6, 2004 My computer has been freezing sometimes, when i start my comp up and when it does this i hear the floppy drive been accesed and then it freezes 5 seconds later, but its fine when started in safe mode ive ran The Cleaner, norton anti-virus, spy sweeper, and cleaned my comp, but it sometimes still happens, other times it could be fine for a couple of weeks then it will start happening again.....anyone have any ideas what could causes this Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mostly RAM, Video drivers, processor is failing.... :unsure: Definatley check out the error log. Even if there is too much there to determine what caused it, make note of the time the freeze happens, all errors have a date & time stamp.
