Well while you all were playing at getting the Forum back up an confusing me each time I came to see what was going on I had a Heart Attack last Sunday morning so there. Please leave the Board alone as I can't take the stress at my age anymore.

I spent all of the past week in the Hospital being poked at by all kinds of strange people. But the good news is they did find the problem and operated on me Thursday afternoon. Sent me home to recover on Friday. Change in lifestyle is required but if it means good health so be it.

But glad you all got things back in shape again.

Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty with/without stents?

I had that some years ago. Doesn't last. Hope you're in the queue for a bypass.

Don't worry about it too much. I'm still around many years after my first attacks.

My heart condition was inherited - both parents with heart disease.

I found the change in lifestyle is not all that demanding. I don't drink alcohol anyway, I didn't smoke so the only real restrictions were cutting down on fatty foods and salt which, again, didn't play a large part in my life.

I'm sure you have many years left :)

Glad to hear you are OK. 'Er indoors tells me you can't beat being poked now and then. Probably get a warning for the reference to being poked. Just had a bottle of Aussie red with my lunch, ah well. Who cares?
