doug
Well this is it together with last years on the left. You will note that with last years I developed a distinct droop half way. I think it now needs honerable retirement, to be placed alongside the USA flag on the Moon?Had to do a bit of taping on the new flag. I'd got a length of plastic rod from B & Q and tried to bend it through a right angle over the gas stove, could smell the plastic sizzling but it was also glass fibre reinforced so it didn't bend cleanly. Inserted one end into the cane then drilled some 1 mm holes along the edges of the clear border of the banner. Wired the banner to the cane and rod then have tried to tidy things by covering with white insulation tape. Now you should all know what to look out for.All that remains is to carry it to South Shields - piece of cake really. :D
