Northamuk
I am having a weird proplem with my cordless, ball, mouse. It is not the batteries and it is not the rollers. What is happening is that the cursor arrow is turning into a black circle with a diagonal line in the middle (like a 'no parking' sign, a couple of clicks bring back the arrow but the cursor is not activating 'click' boxes until they have been clicked several times, also when using vertical scroll bars they are not released and have to be clicked several times before the mouse is released. In addition, the cursor can move erratically and jerkily (as though the rollers are gummed up.
christmascracker
You could try re-installing the drivers or having a fiddle in the settings

Scarecrow Man
Go to control panel, open mouse properties, and change your pointers back to windows default.

Northamuk
Moving the channel switch to the second channel and then back seems to have had some effect!
