doug Posted October 4, 2004 Report Share Posted October 4, 2004 When I had my recent problems with Trojans etc. eventually resulting in a re-installation of XP Pro, I remember seeing something about automatic recovery and requesting a floppy recovery disk. r4may Posted October 4, 2004 Report Share Posted October 4, 2004 Is this what you are after Doug.http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechn...intain/asr.mspxThis boils down to creating a backup and recovering from the back up.Any backup could be used in the same way, I use Norton ghost for a weelky backup and if I get a problem that would require a reinstall I just restore from my last backup.Nero 6 also has a backup utility which I believe can also do incremental backups once you have a full backup.
