awake
Probably a simple none this (bit like me !)Easiest to explain this with an example: Go to BBC news site and look down the right-hand side for the 'BBC news: video and audio' links. The URL that shows for these links is 'http://news.bbc.co.uk/#'This should start whatever media player is (I guess) the default on the PC, but in this case nothing happens. I'm assuming that it's a setting in internet explorer somewhere, or maybe the link is being blocked somehow (firewall type action).I've tried reseting IE to defaults (tools / Internet options / advanced tab) and turning off the firewall but this makes no difference.I'd appreciate any ideas you clever lot may have on this !Many thanks. expertec
Do you have a pop-up blocker? If so, disable it or allow bbc.co.uk and then see if it works.
Boris
You should see a pop-up window like thisIf you have XP and Service Pack 2 installed, there is now a pop-up blocker in XP working by default.
