This is one of my reasons for having a DG. It's such a pain when you have all the shots that you need at present, but have not used all the film up, what do you do, do you waste the film or take a load of shots that you don't really want? This is all aside from the facts that: film is very expensive, and devlopment of film isn't cheap.I always found in the past that at least 25% of what I had taken, I did not want after all. Bad composition, lighting at the wrong angle, bits and pieces that I had not noticed when I took the shot, such as people encroaching, or lamp posts coming out of heads etc, etc. A digital is so much more convenient, and they are getting cheaper and cheaper. My wife paid just over £500 for mine at 3.1 mega pixels, it came down to just over £300 in three months, before being superseded.
