nellie2
I think it might have something to do with video drivers. Find the file, it should be in your C:\WINDOWS\System32\ folder and right click on it and check if it is made by Trident.I would leave it alone if I were you! Awol
It does state it was made by trident, but in the directory it was pointing to there was just that one file. and dell didnt have any knowledge it shoudl haev been there?the laptops have been out being used for a couple of months now with no problems with it removed! Lol
homecomputeraid
Computer geeks get their kicks in strange ways, don't they! Someone got away with naming that file! Of course I'm talking about the computer geek who named that file, not the ones who hang out here. :)
-pops-
It could, just possibly, be perfectly innocent.I have had a lot of dealings with the Far East in another industry and, although some often appear to speak English, their use of the language is somewhat limited. If the software is from non-english speaking originators, Triton WATchDOG abbreviated to what we can see here may not have any particular significance. :)

andsome
A Google search will find loads of references, take your pick. Trident Watchdog seems to be the answer.
homecomputeraid
That's true. It could be meaningless in another language. I get some excellent support from India for Computer Associates and Cisco products. They do speak differently though. :)
