Scarecrow Man
I was called to take a look at a computer. The user told me he could not read his e-mail. I figured it was a security setting or something like that. When I got there, I opened Outlook Express, and opened an e-mail. Upon opening it I noticed the sender, subject etc. were fine, but the message itself was not there. Not only is the message not there, but if you go to Edit > Select All, it only selects a few characters making me think this is not a font problem.I should also add that the user is able to recieve e-mails fine, and sending does not seem to be a problem either. It was also mentioned that if the user checks his hotmail account, the message cannot be seen there either.I have downloaded and re-installed Internet Explorer with no avail.Have any ideas? :unsure:EDIT: Click here for FULL re-install instructions

scuzzman
Well, that doesn't fully fit the solution I quoted - the Subject line is not blank...

Scarecrow Man
http://www.msfn.org/articles.php?action=show&id=23I followed the instructions on that web page, put the folder on a flash drive, and installed.I should also add that it would seem the previous IE was corrupted, because when you go to Help > About, the version was not displayed. It acted like the messages having a blank spot where text should be.Anyways, the full install worked beautifully and I will have a very happy customer. Many thanks Scuzzman. I appreciate your help through this. :D
