It told me that I had one 80GB hard drive in this machine when, in fact there is one x 120GB and 2 x 80GB. First impressions not very good. djohn Posted February 7, 2005 Report Share Posted February 7, 2005 Yes, it says in the FAQ's that it will only detect 2 drives and the problem is to do with windows not the application. andsome Posted February 7, 2005 Report Share Posted February 7, 2005 Just installed it, and it all seems OK. One thing though. If I click Start/Programs, and then click on the program it installs another copy, id did this every time I clicked it, I then had to right click them in turn in the system tray and exit. Also it is almost impossible actually see the icons in the system tray, as they are very pale yellow. Other than that, all OK at present. It shows one hard drive as 83%, and the other as 72%. The higher figure is on a drive about a year old, and the lower figure on a drive about three years old. I have PC Doctor wired into the main hard drive, and the temperature shown on HD life is a couple of degrees Celsius lower than the temperature shown by PC Doctor, so I suppose the slight difference is acceptable.I will leave the program running for the time being, it will be interesting to see how the temperature shown compares on start up, and also if the performance figures are consistent.
