trackrat Posted February 19, 2005 Report Share Posted February 19, 2005 You could try this program for the active X errors.http://www.freedownloadtools.com/If you want to add a picture from your computer click add reply (not fast reply) and below the text box, you will see a heading File attachments if you click browse to locate the file, then click on the file it will add it to the browse box then click Add this attachment then when you have finished writing your text click submit post. gillian7117 Posted February 19, 2005 Author Report Share Posted February 19, 2005 I cracked the app above to see if it repaired the problem but it didnt.. it found over 100 problems though so thanks alot...If anyone else could tell me where to go to delete damaged downloaded activex controlls that would be great...I know its there somewhere as I had to be told ages ago how to get there to delete a damaged class....but I cant seem to rack my brains hard enough for it to spring to mind lol.... gillian7117 Posted February 19, 2005 Author Report Share Posted February 19, 2005 Why wont somebody just tell me how to get to that screen on my PC lol???? Ive done disc clean, defrag, spyware, virus scan, whatever else. The only way to delete the damaged file is to go to that screen, delete the damaged class and then the new activex class will download and then I can use the site.The pic above is not a pic that i took, Its a pic of where I need to be!!!!!!
