Clueless
When I look at these comics some of them work and some of them don't. This one does.http://www.9thelsewhere.com/2003/9e2_019.htmland the next two don't.http://www.9thelsewhere.com/2003/9e2_020.htmlhttp://www.9thelsewhere.com/2003/9e2_021.htmland the next one after that works.Tried different computer and they work so it isn't the site but still doesn't work here.Turned off protection and it doesn't help. This isn't the only site where it is a problem. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
If you use Internet Explorer, right-click on the pictures that don't show, and select Show Picture. That should correct pictures that accidentally didn't download. You could also try to clear your cache; that would force the browser to download everything anew. andsome
WELCOME to WFI tried your links and they worked for me. Is it possible that when you tried them, the server was having problems?

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
No need to be sorry :) - you can always go back into your message and edit it; I do it all the time...Did you try to empty your cache? If it happens again after this, try Reload on your browser, or F5.P.S. [added] to clear the cache (Internet Explorer): Tools -> Internet Options -> tab General -> section Temporary Internet Files -> button Delete Files -> check Delete all offline content -> OK. Clueless
I've done that before but did it again anyway just like you said and it still didn't work. I really don't think that is it.
-pops-
I assume that you are using Internet Explorer as your browser for this.At the risk of admonishment from other members of the forum, have you tried a different browser such as Firefox or Netscape or Opera?I use Firefox almost all the time now as my internet browser and am perfectly satisfied with it. andsome
Looks like a reinstall of Windows. Is anything else playing up?
djohn
I've just tried all 3 in IE6 and Firefox and they work fine. I'm not too sure on this one so please wait for another member to confirm before trying, but Powerless got me out of a similar problem by flushing the DNS. If you get confirmation then copy the command below, click on Start/Run and paste it into the window, click on OK and see if that helps. ipconfig /flushdns
scuzzman
Actually, more potent than a DNS flushing is a repair on the Local Area Connection. Also, try running Crap Cleaner and see if that sorts it.
djohn
"Local Area Connection" Would that only apply if he has 2 or more machines networked scuzzman, or is it something you can do with just the one PC?
Clueless
I tryed the crap cleaner and my internet did go faster but the pictures still will not appear. I also tryed the Start/Run command but it didnt work either.I also just found out that the family computer will not show the pictures as well. I dont know if this is important but i thought it might help to mention it, seeing as the family computer and mine both are using the same internet connection. djohn
Are they networked or do you disconnect one to use the other on-line? Can you please let us know this and if you've tried a repair of Local Area Connection as advised by scuzzman, if your not sure how to do this, let us know and scuzzman will help you sort the problem. :)
scuzzman
Local Area Connection works on any machine with a NIC.In fact, if one has a broadband connection, then they have a Local Area Network, just a very small one.As for the connection repair, Go to Start->Control Panel->Network and Internet Connections->Network ConenctionsRight-click on "Local Area Connection" and select the "Repair" option. I think it was called the hub. both the computers are geting the internet from it.I tryed the repair of the Local Area Connection, and it didn't help.
