xadamz23
Ok, This is kind of a funky one. More of an annoyance than a problem. If I go into Internet Explorer's Properties page, then click on the Advanced tab, all of the checkboxes are abnormally large. Same is true for the radio buttons in the Security tab.Ive included a screenshot so you know exactly what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the PC im using doesnt have this annoyance so my screenshot looks fine. But on many PCs ive noticed that the checkboxes and radio buttons are larger than normal. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks,Adam
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Perhaps some Accessibility settings?
xadamz23
Perhaps some Accessibility settings?Nope. I checked those. I'm now at a PC that has the problem and I have attached a screenshot. You can compare it with my earlier screenshot to see what im talking about. andsome
I honestly cannot see any problem with the first or the second shot. Both are perfectly acceptable. Mine looks more like the second one that you are complaining about. In fact if you count the number of little boxes on view, both are identical. I think it is a matter of thickness of the lines and boldness of the lettering that makes them look different.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Maybe it has something to do with the Theme that is used? Not sure; I have never seen your 2nd version.
andsome
Measuring with a ruler on my screen there is 1mm difference in the size of the little boxes. This is almost certainly to do with screen size and resolution. Here is mine.
Boris
Its the difference between the settings you use - either Standard XP or Classic Windows.
xadamz23
Ok, check this out. If I Open internet Explorer-->Tools-->Internet Options-->Advanced... I get the bigger checkboxes. If I right-click on the Internet Explorer icon on my desktop-->choose Internet Properties-->Avanced...I get the normal sized checkboxes. I've included a screenshot of what I am talking about. trackrat
JUst as a point of interest the larger boxes are titled Internet Options and the smaller boxes are titled Internet Properties, although they show the same information.I have just checked on my computer and it is exactly the same.
