Hi Folks,

When I follow the normal steps for clearing the temp files and the cookies I have a problem 40% of the time.

Control Pannel>Internet options>Delete Files>Delete all off line content>OK>Delete Cookies>OK>OK,

It's at this point that it gets stuck. I end up having to use the task mgr to "END" it. Any idea what wrong? Thanks.

Brilliant program, but before running a scan, go to options and see if there are any cookies from sites where you need to log on etc, and drag and drop them from the left hand window to the right hand window. I run Crap Cleaner EVERY day, and it really does speed things up.

Look here as well. CC guide

Actually I would reccomend against this in this particular case.

I think the problem is a corrupted cookie, and backing it up before removal would only be counter-productive.

If this turns out to be the case, then surely CC will find this out. I found it to be quite a pain when I deleted everything on my first scan. He can always go back and drag the offending cookie back into the delete window.
