Support for other languages of Adobe Reader 7.0 will be provided at a later date.Adobe recommends that all users of Adobe Reader 7.0 apply this update as a proactive measure.This update provides improved security and support for hyperlinks to PDF files in Microsoft Office documents. It also addresses known issues associated with form workflows and 2D barcodes. Click hereI saw that but for my part I have had no problems with Adobe so "better the devil you know". Perhaps sometime in the future I may switch over. These can be important occasionally (eg Patent Office website) but for most uses, Foxit is more than adequate.I have one machine with the Adobe software on it the others have Foxit. Does that make me a clever boy? :D :D :D :DIt's when you delve deeper into the legal aspects of patents looking for search reports etc and INPADOC status etc. For a general view of an original patent document then Foxit is perfectly OK.Don't get me wrong, I am not decrying Foxit at all, just saying that there are some (little used, perhaps) refinements in the Adobe product not found in the other one. -pops- Posted February 10, 2006 Author Report Share Posted February 10, 2006 Can't say yet - I haven't sent the application in.I've just obtained the online filing hardware and software to enable me to do everything over the 'net.This includes a Gem PC Twin card reader (this thing) a credit-type card with PIN which gives access to all sorts of worldwide patent office information not available to the general public and the ability to do the filing online- and all for free!!
