andsome
It annoys me that so many British people complain about the series of raids on Dresden. They seem to forget these indiscriminate raids on the East end of London, also Coventry and Birmingham. We sat cowering night after night as all hell rained down on us in Birmingham. After the raids we looked out of the front and back windows of the house on several occasions, and we were surrounded by fire. One morning we found that a whole string of incendiary bombs lay on a diagonal path across the road. We had on in the front garden and one in the back. This was a purely residential area, and luckily not one of the string had exploded. I too hope we never see that again.

catgate
"They have sown the wind they will reap the Whirlwind"It was such a pity that basically the poor sods who copped it were lots of German ansomes and not the evil bas..rds who did the "sowing". Of course thesowers were "leaders" and had to be protected by the mugs they has conned into 'electing' them. Bremner, Bird and Fortune did an item last night that covered this matter....the difference between the giver of the order and the executer of the order. Very telling.
