Burntwood in Staffordshire where I live, can boast the country's smallest park. It is possibly the smallest in the world. Here is a drawing of it. It is roughly triangular and measures about three or four yards on it's longest side.

Smallest park.

Must be really old if they still measure it in " yards ", or owned by a football or London marathon commentator :D :D

OK clever d ick, three or four metres, give or take an INCH or two. Had to leave the space between the d and the i, the filter on this forum will not allow the nickname for Richard.

When did the UK go metric.... ? :D

I can remember going into the builders mechants with all the stuff i wanted, all measured in metric and the geezer said " What the flip is this load of poo " or words to that effect. :D

What fun it will be when they convert you to driving on the right. :D

I am convinced that that will NEVER happen. People who drive on the right are in the minority in the world. Not the minority in Europe and the US perhaps, but certainly in the world as a whole.

Don't bother, we are happy driving on the left, and happy to be with the majority.

Guess again. :D

Total number of countries that drive on the left: 74

Total number of countries that drive on the right: 166

Total population of countries that drive on the left: 1,939,854,524 34%

Total population of countries that drive on the right: 3,824,562,670 66%

Just found the same info myself. I admit to being wrong, which of course is more than many of the political posters on the forum will do. However, there is no reason for the UK to change. Even B'liar and Brown would quail at wasting that much money.

We are once again way off topic.
