I was updating my site today and someone has put a page on my site...... :o I wanted to provide the link to show you and ask what you think because to all intents and purposes I suppose I have been hacked.

But......

Although I now have the page on my hard drive......I don't know how to find the URL for it on my site. I use Cute FTP......is there anyway that I can go straight to a particular page on my site from the pages that are showing in my www folder??

Oh....I am not overly worried about it as I have been given some info that is all but it is worrying that someone could put a page on my site without my password etc and I wanted to get some thoughts from you lot about it!

It is netfirms Tankus......click on my www button!

the title is

Web Posting Information

but then below that just underneath the body tag is this <!-- postinfo.html version 0.100>

when I saved it to my hard drive the link in my browser is this

F:\gwynne\My Web\mycorner\postinfo.html

the gwynne, my web, my corner are folders on my hard drive.

but there is more info in the source if you look at that..........what is it and is it telling me that any one can publish to my site just because I have been rattling on about HTML???

that is what I thought.......needing the password I mean.....is it just something put there by netfirms do you think? Also, I am a bit dubious about deleting the file because if you look at the source it says there

If you do not want to allow users to edit files on this web using tools other than Microsoft FrontPage, you can delete this file.

So if I deleted it would that mean that I wouldn't be able to use anything other than front page?? I'm getting the hang of Cute now too!
