trackrat
SCMan how would you go about it, do you need to make any changes in the BIOS or just hook it up to the pci card and boot up?.

guestt03
yes you can. Either use the diskette supplied or download the software from the manufactures website. This will inform the bios to use the option to boot from the card, if the bios doesn't support that option yet.For a computer forum I am supprised no one ............. -pops-
It may be the controller in the hard drive that's the problem rather than the M/B.
Scarecrow Man
Sorry trackrat. Here is some more info:http://www.pcguide.com/ref/mbsys/buses/types/pciIDEBM-c.htmlThe card has it's own bios that will run after the computer bios runs. It will then continue to boot as normal.
