Hi

I have just spent some time looking for you, and there does not seem to be many free ones about, but i found this in a forum:-

iTunes can do this for you... Erm... Preferenes, importing, then change the thingy to mp3, pick a bitrate... Save prefs. Select the music you want to convert, right click => Convert to mp3. Done.

I don't know if it works as i don't use ITunes.

I will keep looking though.

Tony

you can use Nero (maybe you must rename m4a to mp4) which should be able to burn AAC directly or

use e.g. foobar2000 for decoding to. wav before burning. Its replaygain feature is helpful for

getting same perceived volume on compilations from different CDs and to prevent clipping of decoded files.

or try :- dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) :- http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
