Video CD or DVD

I wish to produce a slide show on VCD or DVD having approx 450 pictures with individual titles and fades between shots. I need to set longer times for some slides.

Nero can only accommodate 99 shots with transitions.

Any ideas on easy to use suitable software.

I use ulead which is supposed to allow up to 99 slideshows depending on media

Have you thought that there might be a good reason for Nero only accommodating 99 slides?

The average viewers attention span may not extend even to that many pictures without terminal boredom setting in.

I am not suggesting that your slides are boring, Alan, just that however interesting they may be, the number you are thinking about seems just too many to be absorbed or appreciated at one go.

I agree. Having said that however, have you tried Picassa?
