artist
quote - AlanhoTo arrive home out of the blue with a bag of King Edwards and wish her a happy October 7th - or give her a nice shiny new tin opener on April 3rd will produce a much more emotional effect. It would certainly get a 'reaction' from me!!! andsome
Many thanks folks. We did have a great evening. If you look in another thread you will see about 'ER indoors having a few seconds of fame on TV. As a result we went to see the local football team, amateurs to a man, beating a Northumberland team Blyth Spartans in a replay, to gain entry to the first round proper of the FA cup. It was their most illustrious moment ever. Over 2100 people were there compared with a normal gate of less than 100. They won by a solitary goal in the dying minutes. It was well worth the £2 each that it cost. Far better value than any premiership match, with a load of over paid ballerinas.
