deuces wild
I am going to uninstall then reinstall FireFox due to some problems I am currently having with it.The favorites in FireFox are different and more updated than those I have in IE.How do I find where these favorites/bookmarks are in FireFox? TIA
-pops-
If I remember rightly, when un-installing Firefox you either 1. automatically retain settings such as bookmarks or 2. are given the option to retain them.In anticipation of a re-install. deuces wild
The last time I did an uninstall and reinstall on Firefox it tried to import my favorites/bookmarks from IE.So either I need to be able to import my Firefox favorites to IE or be able to save the Firefox favorites for import after I do the reinstall. Scarecrow Man
I hope I'm not too late!I was looking for something to back-up favourites, links bar, history, cookies, the whole lot. I was also looking for a program to backup Thunderbird e-mails, contacts, RRS, etc.I found a solution to ALL my problems with MozBackupMozBackup is a simple utility for creating backups of Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, Mozilla Suite and Netscape profiles. It allows you to backup and restore bookmarks, mail, contacts, history, extensions, cache etc. This program is freeware. It did the trick quite nicely, and I was able to transfer everything from my desktop to my laptop as if I had never installed it on the desktop in the first place.
