artist
I just saw a download called 'End it All' for closing all progs at the same time - I couldn't get it to download. Is there something similar I could use?
Guest ellas
yes ctrl/alt/delete :D
artist
No,no NO!Something quicker than that. For when I want to install something and it says 'close all programmes'. :( I'll try the other thing again if I don't get a sensible answer off here. Guest Nellie2
Ellas is right........if you want to close all programs then the best way to do it is Ctrl/alt/del and then close everything except exploer and sys tray
Guest ellas
well as far as I'm concerned it was a sensible answer its the best and safest way of doing it and always the the way I have done even in xp bringing up task manager, end it all and especially end it all 2 can cause a lot of problems by forcing programs to shutdown that maybe are'nt ready or necessary to be shutdown if you only installing programs. Boris
ellas is quite correct in what he says, but if used correctly EndItAll1 does do the job so much faster (and V1 works a lot better than V2)

Boris
You just "protect" your AV when EnditAll starts and it doesn't get closed !
