I must be doing something wrong with the clock

As the title says, when I post the clock is showing an hour ahead of GMT even though its selected correctly in my controls, I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

It could be one of two things, senior moment or I can't see the wood for the trees, any ideas please?

I could leave it till next March when the clock's change, but that might put me two hours ahead of GMT!

Yes, exactly the same as your set-up, Strangely enough its correct at work here, so I’ll check again when I get home from work after I’ve cleared the cache etc.

That was my first thought, so I've already beaten you to it and checked the BIOS clock to make sure, so the computer clock at the bottom right hand corner of my screenshot is correct, as you see there is a hours difference between the board time and my clock.

Anyway, all the other forums I use show the correct time, so I'm still not sure, its no big deal its just strange.

Spoke too soon, its showing 19:08 for my above post, I'll try Firefox after dinner instead of Opera.

The first attachment is a screenshot of Opera, note the time of the board and the time of my computer in the bottom right hand corner.

And the second is a screenshot of Firefox, note the times again and you'll see they are correct. Can anyone explain that please?

Aye, that it is m'dear.

The only difference could be is that I'm using the Linux version of Opera, if someone else is using Linux with Opera I'd appreciate it if they could give it a go please.

What makes it even stranger is this is the only forum I have this problem with, CT is OK, also EBME.co.uk is OK.

Topband you have cracked it, I am using SuSE 10 and just installed Opera out of curiosity and it is I hour out, but not on my XP computer.

Thanks for taking the trouble and trying that.

OK, that proves its an Opera+Linux thing, I've just tried Xandros forum and its all OK there, so its definitely a problem with this forum or a problem using Opera+Linux on this forum to be correct.

I can get into the Opera scripts but I don't think it will tell me much not knowing how the board interfaces with the browser, I might just take a look, but I don't hold out much hope.

I have posted this on the Oprea for Linux forum under my other name octal and directed them to have a look on this forum, lets see if they have any ideas.

Fixed, I had the computer clock set to "London" 'cos that's where I live, I changed the zone to GMT-0 and all works now. I suppose I'll have to manually alter to BST in March.
