Alan2273
Just for a bit of fun, as I have wine installed, I put Everest home edition on to SuSe 10.The results were quite interesting, it said the OS was Windows 2000 with SP4 the processor was an AMD 3200 when it is a 3000, it got the ram right.Has anyone else tried this?. Alan2273
Andsome, wine is a program that allows Linux users to run Windows software, the results can be funny at times. It can also be very useful if you need to run Microsoft programs. Scarecrow Man
That is interesting Alan.. I am lead to believe that WINE emulates a Windows 2000 machine, since emulating XP would be more difficult. The fact that everest can run, and give any result is quite amazing.I am sure there is someting equivalent to everest in Lnux...
