rong
I have sent some attachments to first a hotmail account, and then to a yahoo account, both times they arrived blank. I can open them in my sent items folder, and also if sent to my granddaughters yahoo address. I also tried it in explorer to granddaughters yahoo address and they opened alright. I also tried sending one of the five pages and that would not open. they are scanned pages to open in word, to a person in France. I have looked on my PC and can't find anything to stop them, any help please.
Scarecrow Man
I heard recently on TechTV, a local technology station, that sending certain attachments to GMail were being deleted without notice.Have you tried sending the attachments as zip files? andsome
Do the people at the receiving end have Word installed on their computers? I will PM my hot mail address to you, you can try sending one to me if that helps.

andsome
I got an attachment that looked like a small sealed package. When I clicked on the package I got a page cannot be found message.
nellie2
Are you actually attaching the document to the email or a shortcut to the document?
rong
The document, I sent it to a yahoo address that i can open on my PC and it opened aright. I do not have a hotmail account so I couldn't try that. I did a search and hotmail has had problems apparently since they changed their Mail checker. Mind she can't open it in either hotmail or yahoo. I am still waiting for a reply about who she goes on-line with, she is American and I just hope its not AOL.andsome She said she got a blank page, thank you any how. andsome
Just tried sending myself an attachment to my own Hotmail account. I had the same result as when I tried to open yours. A little parcel, which when I clicked on gave me an error message. It seems to be a universal problem on Hotmail.
